Plasbumin (Human Albumin) 20% USP is made from large pools of human venous plasma by the Cohn cold ethanol fractionation process. It is prepared in accordance with the applicable requirements established by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Plasbumin 20% main uses:
- Emergency cases of bleeding.
- Restore blood volume when proteins are reduced ex. Burns.
- Dialysis.
- During surgeries.
Plasbumin 20% should be store at room temperature not exceeding 30°C.
